From a handful of friends to a movement
In 2018, a small group of friends from Piliyandala started escaping the city every weekend to explore the peaks and trails around them. The trips got bigger, the stories better, and word spread fast.
Unanduwa was born from a simple belief: the wild places of Sri Lanka should be open to everyone — safely, affordably and without the hassle of planning it all yourself. Today we run guided hikes, treks and camping expeditions almost every weekend, welcoming first-timers and seasoned trekkers alike.
